I am currently a doctoral research student at the University of Oxford having previously completed my undergraduate studies in medicine. I have tutored a wide-range of students over 4 years from 11+ right up to undergraduate level. Throughout this time I have a built up a strong record in boosting students' grades in maths and sciences at both GCSE and A-level. As important as this experience is I believe that the advantages of tutoring lie far beyond exam results and much closer to improving every student's confidence in their ability, and enabling them to enjoy their studies more. Even the best school teacher cannot possibly tailor their lessons to every student in the class. I see my role as a tutor as a provider of a tailored approach to engage my students fully with their studies and help motivate them to achieve their full potential.
