I have been tutoring professionally for four years and have successful experience of many entry and scholarship tests including Eton, Harrow, Kings College, Wallington and Tiffins. With my MA degree from the University of Edinburgh in English Literature, I specialise in tutoring English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning for the 11+, 13+ and 16+ entry levels. I am also experienced at coaching for interviews and enjoy working with a range of candidates including academically gifted and those who may be struggling due to dyslexia or dyscalculia. I believe in motivating students through praise and encouragement and am most happy when enabling people to fulfil their potential. Prior to private tutoring, I spent seven years in the third sector managing a 'back to work' programme for vulnerable young people. I also have a keen interest in psychology and child development, and volunteer regularly for our local sustainability centre.
