I've been a teacher of piano play for 7 years and I've been working with children aged 6 - 18 years old. That means I have been working with beginners, intermediate students but with some of them I’ve also worked on very advanced pieces. My students are not just solo players. I engage them in four hands playing, accompanying other musical instruments and taking part in an orchestra. I try to find and employ the highest possible number of ways that would make their learning more interesting and attractive. Within my teaching I take into consideration not only the temperament and personality of my students, but also their talents, ambitions and objectives. I spend a great amount of time looking for the pieces that would appeal on my students and would be the accurate level of difficulty. For me, the right choice of the piece from the point of enjoyment as well as the difficulty is one of the core ways how to motivate students and create comfortable conditions for their learning.
